The Kennel Club of Bhopal (KCB) is a regional kennel club established in 2012 and affiliated with the Kennel Club of India (KCI). The club promotes responsible dog ownership, ethical breeding and the preservation of breed standards, assists breeders and owners with KCI registration and documentation, and organises KCI championship and breed speciality dog shows in Bhopal.

What the Kennel Club of Bhopal Does
KCB works as a regional link between the canine community of Central India and the Kennel Club of India. Its work falls into two parts.
KCI registration & documentation
The club assists breeders, owners, exhibitors and handlers with KCI procedures, including:
- Litter registration and litter verification
- Single dog registration
- Unknown pedigree registration, as per KCI regulations
- Imported dog registration, microchip and identity verification
- Transfer of ownership and change of registered name
- Prefix / affix applications
- Indian Kennel Gazette subscriptions and other KCI forms

Every show organised by the Kennel Club of Bhopal is held with the following objectives:

On Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 October 2026, the Kennel Club of Bhopal holds two KCI breed pointed all breed championship shows at The Grand Shubharambh, Narmadapuram Road, Misrod, Bhopal. A single all breed entry of ₹3,000 covers your dog in both rings, before two different judges, with separate results. Entries close on 5 October 2026.

Exhibitors are requested to be benched before judging begins. Ring order is followed as scheduled.

Information for Exhibitors
How to enter
- Check eligibility. Your dog must be registered with the Kennel Club of India and eligible for the class you intend to enter.
- Prepare the particulars. KCI registration number, breed, sex, date of birth, sire, dam, breeder, owner and handler.
- Pay the entry fee by bank transfer or UPI. Add a paid kennel to your payment if you need one.
- Share the payment screenshot with your entry particulars on WhatsApp or by email.
- Receive confirmation from the club. Unpaid entries are not accepted.
- Arrive benched by 8:30 am. Judging begins at 9:00 am sharp on both days.
What to know before the ring
- Both shows are conducted under the rules and regulations of the Kennel Club of India and are open to KCI-registered purebred dogs.
- The 16th and 17th shows are two separate shows. Placements do not carry over — each is judged on its own merit, on the day.
- Speciality entries are made separately from the all breed entry. A dog may be entered in both.
- Carry your dog's KCI registration papers and vaccination record to the venue.
- Paid kennels are limited and allotted against confirmed payment only.

Exhibitors travelling from outside Madhya Pradesh are encouraged to book early. With judging running to 10:00 pm on both days, a room close to Narmadapuram Road is worth the small premium.
